Gerardine BaughA canvas sings
Deep, between the brush strokes
Swirls in rich colors
Imagination, rings out thought
Building a fantasy world
I can fall into…
Slow down and listen
The Creator is speaking…

Welcome to my world By ~Gerardine Baugh
Welcome to my world
Float with me between the grasses
Search out the sweet scented milkweeds
The heady heavy blooming flocks
I drift within a cocoon of pleasure
I bump into a presence not recognized inside my world
I slip around it ignoring iridescent wings
And continue on with my songInterview

Just a blip I posted in a comment on, Facebook…what starts your creative process?
The easy road to anything doesn’t exist; it comes about just in the doing. But some have ways to go about it, rituals before the words or numbers flow. If I do a lot of nothing, then nothing will get done. But set a pencil in a cup, or grab a piece of paper and place it where it belongs, that movement announces to the cosmos I am working…
